Darrel & I have lived in Ashland, Wisconsin which is on a bay of Lake Superior, since l983.  Darrel is the pastor of the Presbyterian-Congregational Church here, and I teach in the public schools as a music specialist - both elementary music and high school choirs.

We have two grown children.  Our daughter is married and lives in Minneapolis and is a professor at Macalester.

Our son lives in Los Angeles and works for a private educational company called IvyMax.  We are empty-nesters - with lots of pets in the picture but no grandchildren.

We have purchased a home on Mille Lacs Lake where we plan to retire in about 5 years:)
