Sharing at the request of my dear Aunt Laurie. Her husband, Jeff Wallace, passed away unexpectedly on 9/11/2021, at the age of 71. Laurie and Jamie are doing as well as can be expected and are thankful for the support they have received, near and far. They are planning for a memorial service during the annual McInnis family reunion in July, 2022.
Jeff retired in 2013 after 28 years with the Post Office. His retirement days were spent with his family, rescuing and caring for their many beloved dogs, perusing estate sales & flea markets for treasures and enjoying the (mostly) beautiful North Carolina weather. Jeff and Laurie just celebrated 50 years of marriage on 8/27/2021. He will be greatly missed by many, myself included.
