Douglas H. Woodhouse, 64, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, at his home. Doug was born Oct 28, 1951, in Brainerd, MN., to Herbert and Norma Woodhouse.

After graduating in 1969 from Brainerd's Washington High School he attended Manchester Community College in Manchester, CT. Doug worked in the restaurant industry for many years and for the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), serving in both Europe and Asia, until he retired in 2006. After retiring he was very active in his church and the Mobile Historical Society.

Doug leaves behind his life partner Alan Blair, of Mobile, AL., brother Gene (Rachel) Woodhouse, of Red Wing, MN., sister Nancy (Michael Gunderson) Woodhouse, of Edina, MN., and brother Randy (Kathy) Woodhouse, of Pillager, MN., along with nieces, Lisa and Stacey, nephew Jason, eight great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Stanley.

Doug's full life left behind a wide circle of friends from around the world. His great sense of humor and wit will greatly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
